Goofy (YNA), Oscar (Goffin 'too). Foster bird Betty (RLA). RIP Cookie, 1991-2016 ('tiel), Leo (Sengal), Charlotte (scarlet macaw). Grand-birds: Liam (budgie), Donovan (lovebird), RIP Angelo (budgie)
I think I like this as it is now. The chain comes down to a play perch, so they can get up and down themselves. Surprisingly, the bird who likes it the best is Oscar, who's usually scared of his own shadow.

And a still picture of the whole thing:

Exactly what we use for Salty. If you give the chain a few twists, and re=attach it, It will make it a bit more stable, Pretty soon they will be using it like a highway across the room!

Wrench, I have to admit to wholesale theft of ideas from you! I was trying to figure out how to do it and I was pointed towards pictures of your set up for Salty. And thanks for the tip about twisting the chain. I was trying to figure that out.

Perjo - Female CAG hatch Nov 2015
Cool idea, no way I could do that with Perjo at this point. She takes forever to adjust to changes but more importantly she's a height dominant FID. If she got that high she would make it impossibe for me to get her down, and she knows it.
