Pringles canister?

My husband bought some Pringles last week (not something he'd typically buy) and since the empty canister is apparently non-recyclable, I am curious if it would be safe to make a parrot toy out of if I cut the metal bottom off?

maybe give the inside a nice rinse just to get rid of any crumbs hiding for mistress Kiwi to sneak into having. Apart from that I see no real different to a toilet roll. Maybe tear the printed layer off just in case they use some not okay ink

B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
I don't eat pringles often, but isn't the can lined with some kind of foil? I don't know if I would risk it tbh. But that is just me and it is your call.

I was just going to mention the foil.
If it is lined with foil we would not allow Arika to have it.

Thanks

I wasn't sure what the silvery stuff inside is. It doesn't feel like metal, but I think I am going to toss it just to be safe. Thanks everyone.

I'm pretty sure an empty toilet roll would be even bigger for bumble than a pringles pot is for Kiwi!

It also has metal ring on top and bottom.
for a small bird that might be ok but a BFA would/could make sharp edges from that,
I would not risk it.

nice idea though. a budgie might like it. IDK about the foil though.
