so we have a problematic dog that likes to pee on stuff despite all our best efforts to get him to stop, and he peed on my toy making storage contained. Thankfully he's small so he only got the bottom drawer which is mostly tools like drills and stuff but I did have some sea grass mats down there. I've soaked them in hot water and soap, then rinsed and soaked in pure hot water. And they smell VERY strongly of tea and I have no idea if that's normal. Are they treated in tea or something? While they were soaking the water did turn a tea brown also. I got them all from bird safe stores online. Are they safe to use after the soaking or should I toss them? I would like to avoid tossing them as they aren't particularly cheap and I had some projects in mind for them..
