I saw someone (maybe here?) had a vest and they hung a bunch of birdie toys to occupy their bird while they were perched on their shoulder. So I had the idea to just make one to drape over a chair. We like to work from the deck most days and to keep her away from our laptops, we just spread nuts and toys on the table to occupy her. I figured one step further is a portable mat where I sewed on a bunch of buttons, dangly things, a large pocket for her to snoop in.

I just took an old pair of jeans and converted it. I had no plan in my head, just an idea for something flat so ignore the stitching. I literally just hammered through it so to speak.

I sewed a few buttons, loops so I can hang things, and the pocket. I took one of those Ikea wire wraps and shoved random paper, some with nuts, for her to forage in.

Once I see how she does with it, I will do a better one, planned out more carefully. Trial and error :)

Cool! Nice work-- I would just watch to make sure she doesn't ingest he fibers, but Noodles would love something like this.

Oh for sure! and this isn't something I would leave her alone with. It's literally just to keep her busy and away from our laptops LOL. She would be completely supervised.
