these shredders I weave through cage bars offer lots of fun. The wide plane one snaps and pops when they chew . You can also use brown paper bags cut up, or pages from an old paper book...

Ok trouble loading pictures
Will try again later

Hello? Any birdie boredom buster ideas out there? Im always in need of inspiration abd new ideas to keep em busy. What do you guys do?
DAVID how do you present the finger traps?

This is my popcorn ball idea. Mine like popcorn, and I don't have to worry about it going bad. Tho I see I need to clean my ball :)

B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
Freedom loves all of those small decorative gourds and pumpkins that are everywhere this time of year. :)

Yup, totally whole and raw! Of course, she knows what they are, what's inside them, and has a set of bolt cutters attached to her face. For smaller guys you could try cooking them(poke holes in the hard outer skin so it doesn't explode from steam) a little or a lot first(cool completely), or you could try cutting them into chunks or something. Just be careful, they are suuuuuper hard to cut and become sorta slick when cut. Veery easy to have a knife slip, like cutting into a butternut squash only a harder squash.

Oh I wish, but I don't have any photos. Due to covid we have only been going to the small grocery store the next town over for about 6 months now. They are too small of a place to carry much in the way of produce, and we never got our garden off the ground this summer thanks to the darn chickens. Freedom has been sadly gourdless for a while now. :( stupid virus.
