No, and in fact when I said, "If you did like her, would you admit it?" She replied "NOPE!" Haha my kid's a brat.

🤣 Thanks so much! I'm glad people are enjoying it. For me it's just a good way to keep track of what happened when, but of course I want people to share my joy LOL

Bumble-ing Along

Bumble and I had a little adventure tonight. I had to drop a package at UPS so I put on her harness and took her with. She does NOT like having it put on. She's not crazy about it once it's on, either. However, tonight she only chewed it about 95% of the time so that's improvement. And she's proving me to again how smart she is. Every time she stopped chewing, I'd stick a little treat in her mouth. After the second, maybe third time, she went "nibble nibble" and then looked up at me expectantly. Repeatedly. Stinker!

After UPS we wandered through a couple of stores and then headed for Starbucks. The girls behind the counter made impossibly high-pitched noises when they saw her and I bought her a fruit cup (no sugar added).

Once we got home and I undressed her, she flew to her cage top and when I tried to pick her up, she gave me her gentle "no" beak. I figured she was going to be mad at me for a while. I stepped into the other room to change out of work clothes, and after a few seconds she started doing a sweet little chirp song. I went back to see if she wanted up yet and she flew to my arm and immediately presented her head for skritches while making her happy quack.

And. My heart melted. Again. ❤️❤️ Man I love this little girl!

Re: Bumble-ing Along

Keep up with the harness, she will eventually ignore it and be able to enjoy being outside more. Make sure when it is on that no feather's are turned the wrong way or bent and that the straps are laying flat on her.

Nice pic too, a feast for a princess!

Thanks for the encouragement. It was better this time which leaves me hopeful. I'm thinking of switching to an aviator though - I'm not sure this one fits quite right. Of course, it's difficult to tell when she spends all her time with her head backwards chewing on it!

Re: Bumble-ing Along

Bumble has been working on a new trick! I can't believe how quickly she gets it when she wants to. She does 2 spins as a warm up and then two nice flips
