Male or female?

I would say female. Males usually have BRIGHT blue on their wings. It would be helpful to see the underside of the wing though.

- I now have a young Hahn's macaw. I used to have a Pacific Parrotlet that lived until almost 15. Before that I had a budgie.
It's a good idea to take your bird for a check up with an avian vet, especially if it hasn't had one for a while. The avian vet can tell you it's sex, and give you advice on the proper diet. So often people feed their birds improperly. If you want your parrotlet to live a long life it must be very well taken care of.
