Dang! Can't get that to work, but I'd love to see it. Can you post a Youtube link, maybe?

OMG, that is adorable. I've seen a lot of cute head-bobbing-type stuff but that's unique!

Surely it's some variation of mating/flirting/bonding sumthin-sumthin, but...

It really is a bobble-head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My parrotlet does something similar but not as animated as your video and for not as long a time. I re-homed him 8 years ago and while he is basically tame, spending time on my finger is not his ''most-favorite'' activity, altho he does eventually relent.

Occasionally, I'll see him doing a very abbreviated version of your video when he is on the bottom of the cage and I approach him with my finger. It's a motion almost like what birds do to regurgitate their food to feed their young. But I find that when he makes the abbreviated bobbing motion, he usually is more amenable to getting on my finger right at that point in time. So, it doesn't seem to be a "bad" thing at all.

Aww thats so cute! My male cobalt blue Parrotlet does it alot. He tries to "feed" me while he does it and regurgitates food like a parent. He will sometimes do it to random objects. Not sure if he wants to be a dad or is just playing around
