December's POTM theme is Celebrate!

Whether it is Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, St. Lucia Day, Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Omisoka, or any thing you celebrate, we want to see your pictures!
Birdies who don't celebrate one of the holidays are welcome to enter their pics with something red or green. We'd love to have every bird included this month!
Please feel free to enter your other pets celebrating as just for fun entries! (They won't be eligible to win, but we'd love to see them!)
As always, safety first when taking pictures.

Photoshopping is allowed for this one!
The contest will run until December 28, and a poll for voting will be up on the 29th. Winner will be announced on January 1.
The winner will receive a Supporting Membership for a year, and their photo will be on the front page for the month of January.



Here are a few examples:

A huge thank you to April (Kiwibird) for allowing us to use her beautiful picture of Kiwi in the holiday spirit!

This one was Photoshopped for me a couple of years ago, featuring Ekko and Chazzie. (They were never in the same room!)

A few more for fun ~ featuring Wilson, Poppy, Peanut and Maya!

Imagine my horror when my dog Pinkie (who is a sporty little tomboy girl) received this ridiculous outfit for Christmas last year from my wife. Look how unhappy she was. It was fashion abuse.

Further evidence of the depravity: caught in action!! Look how embarassed the little thing was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And in related news, Ms. Kentuckienne offered this improvement, in which my little hound is magically delivering beer to me. I think we can see that Ms. K. has some odd ideas... and I LIKE 'EM!!!

I can't wait for a christmas tree that someones bird has decided to 'redecorate' hehehe. I haven't put one up for a few years, but will see if Griffin is up for some festivities in a week or two

She decided the bird on top of the Christmas tree wasn't looking too good, and took it's place. She is the real star of the show after all!

Awww, No Name is adorable!

I have been keeping Lucille far away from the nativity scene, but with the way she eyes Baby Jesus, I am thinking I should just get my camera phone ready, release the queen, and let her prove that "Lucille" is just one small step from "Lucifer." Hm...
