my pionus is brown :(

hi, we're new here. my blue headed pionus is turning brown very gradually. in the last few weeks i have noticed his green changing brown one feather at a time. does anyone else out there have a browning pionus..........

Are the brown feathers fuzzy and soft, or do they look normal? If they do look fuzzy, he's likely to be molting.

If not, then maybe malnutrition? What kind of diet does he eat? Is it rich in fresh veggies?

Other than these two scenarios, I don't know what else it could be. That's strange.

thanks for the post back. Ziggy really doesnt like veggies, he is open minded to try new things. and normally tries everything that i'm eating. but if he doesnt like what your eating he'll look at it like its a ufo and run away. lol ill keep working with him.
