I thought now would be a good time to show an update on Raven :).
First.... he is 99% in his mature colors now :D! He is so much more handsome in his shiny navy blue suit. I call his salmon pink throat feathers his "chest hair" LOL :18: He and Griffin are still wet from a shower, which is why Raven's back looks that way, and Griffin looks a bit disheveled ;).

This pic I took last month... Griffin likes to be a 'background person' in your photos as much as possible. I have several pics with a little Griffin peeking in the background lol, but this was the funniest.

So beautiful! Pray tell where you got him? I once scoured high and low but couldn't even identify a breeder for bronze wings. I'm very curious about them.

Thanks Chris :). He was shipped from Maggie Tarleton in Indiana. She specializes in Cape parrots and Greys. Took a good while for me to find him too. I had a female BW who passed 10 years ago, and I wanted another one. The BW Pi's aren't in demand plus they're said to be hard to breed for some reason.

Thanks Shirre! I love his new color too :). Bronze Winged juveniles are so drab looking in comparison. He's growing up... I guess next comes the hormones oh boy! ... and Griffin is NEVER innocent LOL! :D

Wow! These pics were well worth the wait, Lady Jules! Raven's adult plumage is stunning! You need to do a comparison post so we can see the juvenile and adult plumage within the same thread. (Not too demanding, am I? Heh, heh.)

And Griffin is a trip, photo-bombing in the background! Hahahahaha!

What an incredibly beautiful bird Raven is! I don't think I've ever seen such vibrant dark colors before! Vibrant and dark are contradictions somehow, but Raven shows that darkness can be vibrant :) I am so fascinated I can't stop looking at him.

Raven is really becoming stunning! His plumage is amazing, that blue is just.... beautiful.

As for that little photo bomber in the background:54: I think SOMEONE would like his own photoshoot.

Thank you so much for the kind comments everyone :)! Raven thanks everyone also! I will dig up an old pic of Raven to show the interesting color change.

Griffin is definitely demanding his own photo shoot too :D. He is not modest like his older Poi cousin Robin lol.
