Kitoko update

Hey all,
It's been one week and Kitoko is fitting in well. She sleeps well at night and chirps until we get up in the morning (usually around 6). She's still not completely comfortable with fingers, but she's slowly calming down.

We go out in the yard every morning and pick raspberries, which becomes a game of keep the glass out of reach and watch her attack the leaves instead.

This morning she was so excited to see me that she brought up banana to share, I think it's love!

I think I'm fitting in well to parrot life, I think finding her was the perfect choice!

Re: Kitoko update

Okay, so here's some recent pics!
My foot is pretty much the only way she'll crawl out of her cage, but it does entertain guests

Re: Kitoko update

Okay the photos of her climbing out onto your foot cracked me up.

Pi refuses to step up onto my hand unless she's on the floor and wants up. I have to open her cage, let her climb out onto the top and then she'll go from there to my shoulder or the top of my head. We're working on it .... lol

Congrats on your new best friend! Mmm, upchucked banana. Now that's love! <3
