ok lately nuts been more playfull with every1 except my man lol she pooped all over him yesterday! funniest was when he bent under her perch, splat! :11: personally thought it was well aimed and on purpose!

yesterday, she spent ages hunting my son's toes, going under blankets etc and kinda rolling on her back for me, though i am not sure how to play back?? as silly as it sounds, as nut plays rather aggressively on her back lol an playful bite kinda hurts, but i don't want to deter her from this, as it is rather cute

she kinda reminds me of a cat when she is on her back, so i've taken to danglin a toy for her to attack lol (not my treasured fingers!)

is grabbing the beak ok?? as when i do this she kinda makes chomping sounds, but seems content to let me hold her beak for a bit:p:09:

I tickle merlins belly & make growling sounds when he's on his back, he loves it. He seems to know we are playing so any biting is gentle, until he gets too excited. Then we have to stop. Sounds like nut is really trusting you & mad @ your man. I bet nut knows when she has to poop, it was probably on purpose. Merlin tries to poop on dawg sometimes, he's did it b4, she is wise to it, she won't lie under him. :p

I hold on to kito's beak whenever she nips at me. So far it hasn't made her any more aggressive or touch-shy.

Merlin gets his beak pryed open with a sharp 'no' if he's chomping on anything he shouldn't do.

If he nips then I pick him up and put him away from us and he gets ignored for a good 5-10mins.

He hates being ignored more than having his beak pryed open.

Ive never understood that, when I played with the U'Too at work, Id always grab his beak, (it kept him from biting me and after he learned we were playing it got him excited) he would giggle and grab ahold of me with his feet, Id pick him up and we would go for a "fly" around the room. (Id spin in a circle with him on my arm, he would spread his wings and Soar.

It was accually kinda pretty. but that was the extent of our play, I wasent allowed to interact more with him, or any animal. (part of the reason I quit) we were to clean, not handle the animals.
