Hey guys. I'm not sure if I posted this before or not, my minds gone a bit funny!

Merlin seems to hold his poop in all night long and then even when he's awake for a few hours (before we let him out) he doesn't poop. He seems to wait until we let him out of the cage and then do a massive one on us >: (. For which he gets recaged as we're trying to teach him that poop=cage.

Can anyone suggest any reason why he refuses to poop in his cage? He does the odd one or two throughout the day when he's caged up, just most certainly won't in the mornings. He comes out, cuddles and then shakes that tail of his and ruins cuddle time!

I'm always like "hmm, have you done your morning poop yet because I'm not letting you out until you have!" unfortunately, looking on news paper when you're tired and groggy and it's dark... well, it's just easier to let him out and jump back into bed. ahem... He just seems to hold it in regardless of how long he has to wait! Other than shutting him in all day, which I think is unfair anyway, I can't see a solution. > : (
