So what are everyone's favorite books for poicephalus or general parrot ownership and training? I've been looking on Amazon and there are quite a number of highly rated books...

thanks!

I have a ton of bird books and magazines, unfortunately they are in storage right now so I can't go through and check all of the titles. Off the top of my head, two books I have on training that I really like are "Birds off the perch" and "The click that does the trick".

Parrots
Piper - Peachface Lovebird;
Shade - Senegal Parrot;
Joey & Pixel - Red-bellied Parrots;
Petey & Zuri - Meyer's Parrots;
Léa - Cape Parrot
To be honest, the only Poicephalus related book I've read/own is Guide to the Senegal Parrot and it's Family. I've read many articles in magazines and online.

Keats (budgie) born Feb. 18, 2011, and Raphael (budgie) adopted July 3, 2011. Finn, a Brown-Head Poicephalus, born January 4, 2010, has also joined the family!
I just picked up Sally Blanchard's Companion Parrot Handbook, which I quite like. It's entertaining, as well as educational.
