Today unexpectedly ended up being a day off of work for me. Soooo, to enjoy part of my day I decided to relax, watch a movie and x-stitch. But Cassie didn't think that was such a great idea because I left her in the other room. This began her funny antics to get my attention once again. lol.

She began squaking and trying to talk to get me to come over to her. She also threw her toys on the floor and then squaked some more. I finally said okay and told her if she was good I'll let her be with me on my shoulder while x-stitch. For a tiny bit she was content and loveable but she decided just being with me wasn't good enough. She wanted my 100% attention and cuddles.

Well.... when she decided she wanted my full attention, I was in the middle of x-stiching so I kept on sewing. She began to nibble my ear, and she stuck her tongue in my ear which cause me to cringe and say "Hey Hey Hey!" She responded in talking back to me and I coulda swore she tried saying "Hey Hey Hey" in return. LOL. I petted her a little bit but that wasn't good enough. She then chewed on my shirt, rubbed her head against my cheek and tried getting my hair scrunchie off.

After she got bored with those antics and she climbed down my arm onto my pattern book. It was then she spotted my highlighters and the fun began. She seems to love playing with the things she thinks she's not suposed to have. For awhile she thought the highlighters were great and I'm so glad I had my camera near by. She surely seems to know exactly how to get my full attention. lol.

LOL, what a clown. Merlin loves hilighters too. We have to hide them, he squeals when he sees one, & totally destroys it. Great pictures. You need to use one for your avatar.

Keats (budgie) born Feb. 18, 2011, and Raphael (budgie) adopted July 3, 2011. Finn, a Brown-Head Poicephalus, born January 4, 2010, has also joined the family!
I love that Cassie loves your highlighters! After hearing how Pois enjoy writing utensils, I bought some parrot pencils (i.e., no lead, just wood), but Finn hasn't really taken to them yet. He may someday.

So cute. I cant do crosswords with the birds out, it becomes a wrestle match and they are NOT allowed to have pens (due to the ink) All pics are cute but I love the third pic "Hey mum, look at me, I am weight-lifting. Arent I cute and clever AND strong"

Sooo funny. I love the comments. Cassie loves anything I'm working with especially if it's something new. lol. I love her antics.

Oh, something else she does really funny now. She's doing this more and more it seems. If I'm putting her on her cage and she doesn't want to go back on her cage (wants to stay with me), she'll put one foot on the cage and then hold on to my finger as long as she can with her other foot. When I try to get my finger back, she would rather roll on her back with her still hanging on. If I lift my hand up higher she hangs up-side-down looking at me as if she's so pleased with herself. lol. Yesturday she did this to me and I layed her on her back in my hand. She lets go of my finger when I say 'Bang' most of the time so that's how I got her to let go. I gave her head rubs and then rolled her over on her cage with no chance at holding my finger. She looked at me as if to say, Hey not fair! lol.
