Going to get a Sennie

Going to be driving over 3 hours tomorrow to hopefully pick up my second bird, a 2 year old female Senegal named Indy. I found these people through Craigslist. Crossing my fingers since I've never done Craigslist before.
The wife posted the ad due to worry about Indy's welfare. The have a couple labs and mentioned rescuing dogs. Well they have this little girl in what looks to be a parakeet cage hung from the ceiling. They said they had her in a bigger one before but the dogs would not leave the cage alone. They also had a bird previously that the dogs did get hold of. It lasted a month after the incident.
The wife is only asking $100 cage included and is more concerned about getting Indy out of there and into a better home. The husband is still a bit reluctant. I'm pretty sure he is the rescuer. Here is one of the pics she sent. I'm told Indy is a good bird but we shall see. Wish me and Indy luck.

Well got Indy home. While I was there she stepped up for me & took treats from my hands. She still will take things from me but she keeps pinning her eyes at me. When I opened the cage door to get her water bottle she started growling at me.
I have her upstairs & she keeps calling until I come up. I think once she settles in a bit we'll be good. Until then cleaning the cage will have to wait. At least she has fresh food & water now.
