Today I became the proud mommy of a 19yr old Senegal named Kesha. Her previous owner is sick and doesn't want her anymore. I'm fairly new to bird ownership, so hopefully I've come to the right place for all things bird! 
Kesha is fairly friendly. She also knows some words. But I'm afraid her cage is slightly cramped and her toys have seen better days. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction for a new cage and accessories? Also, what is the best food for her? The previous owner was giving her mixed bird seeds and said she gives her fruit and things on the side.
I'm sure I'll have plenty more questions and really look forward to learning more.
