I am needing some toy suggestions for my Senegal Pippin. I have given him toys that are made of wood that are nice sturdy toys and I would have thought that would have lasted for a while, but Pippin had completely destroyed the toy within a 3 day period. I do have another toy that he has basically ignored which is also made out of wood. Anyone have suggestions on toys and where I can find them? I have used the Drs. Foster and Smith website for most of Pippin's toys. The closest real pet store is over an hour away from me so I can't easily drive over there on a regular basis.

I like My Safe Bird Store, I've Got A Woody, Mother Pluckin Bird Toys, California Bird Nerds and occasionally Amazon.

PS.. Toys are meant to be destroyed, so that's good!

Wish my bird would chew on her wood toys... she only plays with one toy and completely shreds it within a week's time, but it barely has any wood on it other than some wood beads, which she likes to shatter and some Popsicle sticks that get snapped off the second I put it in there (it has a lot of palm leave shreddies and some soft wood but of course i'd like it if she took to harder wood better). I love that she at least plays with ONE of her ten toys... lol

Yeah I use mysafebirdstore. It's where I got the majority of her toys, but I'm actually ganna order some from petco/petsmart, maybe amazon as well with my next paycheck.

Besides shreddable and wood toys, one thing I noticed my Pois like are hard plastics. Robin LOVES chewing plastic chain links, and they can literally occupy him for hours on end (he's a weird bird).

Another absolute favorite are toys with small pacifier shaped, and chandelier crystal shaped acrylic dangles on them. They love the ones from Scooter Z, who makes them with stainless steel hardware. They last forever with Robin, although Griffin cracks off the pieces since he's a hard chewer. Mysafebirdstore.com is wonderful.
