First, I would ask your friend not to hold the baby that way, there is so much weight pulling from the bottom.
I asked a friend who handfeeds and she asked this:
Is the formula warm enough as he gets fed? Is the baby kept warm so it can digest?

Is there an avian vet anywhere close that your friend could take him to? Or perhaps someone else nearby who is experienced with handfeeding who could help him?

Please, please find an avian veterinarian, or a local bird club, or breeder, or someone experienced.
Please, please, don't wait on online help alone. Babies can't stand much experimentation... they're so fragile. Good luck to you all

This chick is being fed incorrectly and now could be suffering from any number of very serious problems. Immediate vet attention is needed, and after that, your friend needs to learn how to feed baby parrots. Jezzzz I hope the little guy makes it.

OMG! That is a cruel way of holding that poor chick! And I agree...an avian vet is clearly recommended in this case!

I'm with Al here...I hope the poor thing makes it!

Any updates on your friend's chick?

he took the baby to an avian vet, he was been told that the reason might be he did not give the chick a constant temperature environment ,and the food also didn't feed in time.

now,the baby was been take care of very well and still alive, but the faeces looks like not good.:(
