Welcome to the Community! It's nice to have another fellow Poicephalus lover on the boards...

My 1 year and 9 month old Senegal, Kane, has a touch of S.A.D. as well, and let me emphasize the "Sudden" part of the condition. I love him dearly though, he's my little green and orange bundle of mood-swings...My "dream-bird" has always been a Cape Parrot, and I'm actually starting to think quite seriously about bringing one into my family for the first time (I guess I'm a sadist, it's the only explanation I have been able to come to for wanting to purposely bring home the size-equivalent of 3 moody Senegals), so we'll see if I join the ranks of the "Multiple-Poi's" crowd.
