We live with 2 Senegals, a very patient male 14 years old, and a baby girl, 10 months old. The male adores her and is very patient. She spends literally hours when they are out of the cage dive bombing him, trying to get him to fall off of the top of the cage. He has never lost his temper and bit, though he will "hit" her with his beak. It doesn't stop her. She also has started doing this to me, flying straight into my face, particularly if I am eating something she wants (everything). Perhaps her behavior with him is normal (they stay together in his cage, IF I am home during the day, (in which case they are out of cage for many hours). She sleeps in her own cage, is clearly not comfortable spending the night with him, though she will nap and snuggle with him, all day long.

DYH Amazon
Too expect anything else from a 10 month old is unreasonable. Watch a young child and their joy of running! Think if they could fly!

The older male, appears to be handling it well. You are likely 'reacting' to the fly-bys which only inspire's more!

Oh, it likely may never go fully away, as our 22 year old DYH Amazon loves to spin corners around us as he flies to different places he is visiting. Some of it is just tease, some is letting us know that he is moving to another location. Nothing more exciting than 500 g of Amazon flying at you eye to eye!

Thanks, Sailboat! She's so playful and it's a joy to watch. Tummy tickles galore. And yes, our older male is so patient and loving with her. I don't leave them alone in one cage when I go out for long times, as she gets to be a bit much. But normally when I'm home they spend hours together in his cage and outside the cage. I'm waiting for the time when I'll feel secure leaving them alone together for long periods....

This sounds a lot like my Luna and Merlin.
Luna is fairly calm and only fly's when she wants to go some where.
Merlin will dive-bomb myself and I try to ignore it.
He will take off flying and land less than a foot from where he started.
I took all this as youthful exuberance. I think he is less than 3.

I have seen the young crows at my work location. The young birds have so much fun flying around trees and buildings chasseing each other.
