I don't know what you mean, bad English? It is fine!

Are you still handfeeding him formula then?

Have you tried feeding him mashed sweet potatoes? You can always add in some banana, mango, steamed carrots or other foods as well.

He may simply want the comfort of beign fed. Likewise, do you have a vet you can take him to to ensure he's healthy?

Every parrot is an individual. He will eventually wean himself off of formula and start eating solids when he is ready. That is called abundance weaning, and is the preferred way to wean a chick or a youngling. Keep offering solid foods , he will eventually try them.

If fact its a good idea to offer formula once in awhile to the parrot even as he is an adult, becasue if you ever need to administer medicine orally, you can mix it with a small amount of formula and know the bird got the full dose.

Have you tried sprouted or soaked seeds?

Any pellets that you can get a hold of?

What about a variety of vegetables?

Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
Look up abundance weening and let him move at his own speed, while providing tasty/safe alternatives.
