are the seeds in BNS dangerous to quakers? i know eggplant is- well, that means that the outside is dangerous and the seeds and the meat immediately around is deadly but im not sure about the seeds in squash...

Anyone know the truth to the mystery

i have never gave cooper that kind of squash but he LOOOOOVES yellow squash. and , not squash, but sweet potato is another favorite

Eggplant, tomatoes and potato all belong to the nightshade family of plants. That means that parts of them can, at different times, be toxic. Squash and pumpkin belong to the mallow family and, AFAIK, are safe. I read somewhere on a list that the seeds of pumpkin and squash are safe for birds, so I fed them to mine. They gobbled them up and came back for more! I'm guessing the seeds must be safe, 'cause so far the Beaks and Dominic are all fine.
