I got to hold my quaker today. he was verry well behaved and when i went to pick him he nipped at me. it wasnt really a nip, it was more of a warning, he only just held my finger in his hand but kindof aggressive. i expected to at least get pinched. he isnt my bird yet but i think of him as my bird and hope the money im expecting comes soon so i can buy him. i feel like a kid the week before christmas! he evin squaked happily to be held, i guess they take good care of him at the store. i wasnt sure if i was holding him correctly because he was doing this little bowing thing, was he off balance or do all birds do that? also i was wondering if a quaker and a lovebird can go in the same cage together or will the quaker be more aggresive twards me as when you put two quakers in the same cage.
the cage that im going to get is the second largest cage in the store so i think it will be big eough but i dont know the mesurements of it. also the quaker and the lovebird stay in the same play area and when i went in today they were cleaning out the play area and the QP and lovebird were in the same cage but i dont know if that would work for sleeping quarters.
also they were in oppisite corners of the cage.

Having more than one bird in a cage can be really iffy. Generally if they were new birds I'd say it was a bad idea, they need their own space to be able to get away. However since these two already interact and can be kept in the same cage I would not say its a BAD idea... just iffy.

I suspect they'd be more comfortable if they each had their own sleeping space.
