Quaker Parrots: Mozzi and Sydney
I'm known for my 3 lovebirds, but this is about 1 of my 2 Quaker Parrots.

2 nights ago, Mozzi attacked my mom. Biting her in the stomach (pulled off a chuck) and then her finger (When she tried to take him off her.) We don't know how this happened, or what provoked the attack. Mozzi is friendly towards my dad, he loves my dad. Hates everyone else, unless Sydney is with the person. Mozzi has bitten everyone in the family. He has not wings, and when they start to show we quickly cut them.

When my dad holds Mozzi, he lunges at the people who walk up close to him (my dad.) Mozzi won't let anyone pet him, no one can hold him. We give him treats and food, he still will only step up for my dad. I've tried to have him step up onto my finger, but he bit it (Even after Sydney was on my finger.)

(Story)

The night Mozzi attacked, the birds were playing on the floor. Mozzi moved to try and chew on my mom's shoelaces. My mom moved her shoes, Mozzi fluttered up to the couch. He charged beak wide open, and dug into my mom's stomach. She pulled him off, and he changed to biting her finger. My dad quickly took Mozzi and put him in time out.

(End Story)

Suggestion on what is making him attack, or how we can fix his behavior. He use to be very sweet, then I don't know.

Mozzi have clearly chosen your dad as his mate. The males can be pretty nasty once they mature and that's when cage aggression and such will start. When they become aggressive like that, it is best to tell them no right away and stop them from doing so. You guys could start target train him to try to stop him from being so aggressive.

No one is home long enough to train him. I'll suggest the idea to my dad, and mom. No clue if that'll work, but if Sydney isn't in sight Mozzi goes bananas. So he has bonded to Sydney, but loves my dad more.

That's pretty much your option there is to train him. Gotta have to make time if you want to settle that issue.

I'll bring it up with my parents. They want to take him to the breeder my aunt (He was her bird) got him from. To see if there is anything else, I should probably suggest the vet as well. But there's no money to use. :/

training shouldnt take much time. only do 5-10 minute sessions. and 3-4 per day. any more and they start getting bored(depending on the bird). training should definitly help.
