Can someone please tell me approx. when his primary flight feathers will be in all the way?
Thanks so much. I googled everything I could think of. :greenyellow:

At 7 weeks, they should actually be there. Is there a remote possibility your baby was clipped before coming home with you?

His feathers weren't clipped. The breeder said maybe by 12 weeks they'd be grown in.
I'll try to take a photo later of his wings.

Sweet!! They're there all right, they are just growing in now. :) In a week or so he should start using them. ;)

That is ultra sweet that you can open them like that without him having a fit. GREAT JOB you're doing!!! :D

Yup, they are in. They are just still growing in a bit, give him a while and he will be trying them out soon!

Thanks so much. Yes, he sure is tame enough to let me do that. I have been touching him all over. He's even let me pet his belly.
I do this often so he'll stay use to it and me.
I love the fact that I got him so young and not yet weaned. This is a great experience for me and hopefully for him too.
He still hasn't gotten on a perch but that should come soon to, right?
Thanks again, you've been a great help. Other birds I've had were adopted at older ages. Dexter is my first real baby :)
