I've owned budgies, cockatiels, African greys and a green cheek conure and love them all! I never paid much attention to Quakers until today when I went to our local family owned store and there was a green Quaker baby. He let me scritch his little head, played on his back and mumbled ever so sweetly!

Such a sweet little bird! :green2:

Zeke agrees with Ralph!

Harry and I think even the loudest quakers are still irresistible!

This little guy today was so friendly. Just a love. So glad I was in a hurry...he may have had to come home. I have a gcc and wonder if it would be a good mix. Peep has lived a privileged life and enjoys exclusive pooping on mom when he's mad rights. I think he would be really mad for a while were I to bring another fid home... You can imagine what his wrath would put on me...literally!

I have to admit, there's few things cuter than when a baby quaker "quakes."

My Clover still quakes (she's 6 years old). The harder she quakes the madder she is. It's her first - and ONLY - warning. Approach only at high risk! Cute as hell, but if not heeded a bite is sure to follow.
