Anyone use those flight cages for sugar gliders/birds?

I'm trying to make room and organize our space. I'm challenged with the floor plan, air vents, doors etc. and was thinking about maybe getting the Quakers a stacked cage. Has anyone used one of these for your birds? Does it work well? It would actually be wider than the cages they are in but would lose the play top. I could make up for that by creating them one. I wish they would get along and share a cage..would make it a lot easier on me! LOL

I don't use that one particularly...but these are mine. They work perfectly fine! If any of your birds are flighty or nervous the bottom cage wouldn't work for them most likely.

How do they do next to the TV? I like the old one with the play top! Where did you purchase yours at?

My birds are fine next to the TV they don't even care if I forget to turn it off before passing out at night. But they are all used to my weird hours so I'm pretty sure they could sleep through a whole procession of people through my room at 2am let alone just the sound of the TV

I think I got they one with the stand at birdcages4less.com. Not the best quality but it worked.

Flight cages are meant for small birds. Not Quaker small, but SMALL. Those have pretty flimsy small bars. A lot of people use them for parrots, but if you have a bird who likes to bite the bars despite having a ton of toys (such as 2 of mine), then a flight cage would not be good. If the bird leaves it alone, then I guess it's okay. Still not my favorite for a parrot. How about a nice stacker like Victoria showed you above, made for parrots?

Roddick what's in your triple stacker?....I've just found what looks like those exact cages in NZ, my house is smallish and my daughter's pretty keen on a lovebird.....

The top is my two green cheek conures, middle is my sun conure, and bottom is my two female cockatiels. I think the bar spacing is 3/4 not sure if a lovebird would work with that spacing?

I do know they have a smaller version of the triple stacker the bar spacing might be smaller too. Mine is 36 by24 I think and the smaller one is 24 by 22 maybe?

I was able to find this one for a nice price on ebay. I'm sort of bummed about not having a play top, but I'll make it up to them with a homemade play stand!

I see you looking at a triple stacker, does these mean you will have to get another bird?

Hehe..you noticed that too? Wouldn't it be a complete waste of a cage to not get another one? And for the record, I would have preferred just a double stacker, but they cost more than the triple! So now I have an opportunity to get another small bird and I don't know what kind. The cages are 36x25x25, so a pretty nice size for most small-med birds. Any suggestions? We'd like a bird that enjoys handling from multiple people.
