What is normal behavior for a Quaker 1 year of age?

Whenever my parrot drinks(which he doesn't do much)he keeps making a slurping noise and pointing his head up for about 3 minutes each time. Is him bobbing his head and squawking whenever I play a game on the PlayStation 2 in the same room as his cage and/when I play my guitar around him normal? I really am not good at owning a parrot. Also, do most parrots bite your finger when trying to pet him by putting my hand in the cage and carefully petting his back?

Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
Bobbing and sqwalking are his way of interacting with you and what you're doing..he wants to be in with the action! A part of bonding with you.

The biting/nibbling the fingers can have a couple meanings..one being playtfull with you,the other meaning LEAVE ME ALONE! Does he bite/nibble hard? if so...its LEAVE ME ALONE! If its gentle beaking, its his way of playing.
My cockatiel BB just loves to thumb wrestle with me. He will sit on my hand as I wiggle my thumb at him,and he'll dive in and yell and beat the heck out of my thumb..and when he has had enough,he'll run up my arm and say " BB a good boy?"

hope this helps

It sounds like your QP is just swallowing his water as any parrot might do. The squawking and bobbing are his way of saying "Hey! Pay attention to ME!" :D Parrots resent anything like musical instruments or telephones that take our attention away from where they think it should be. Petting a parrot should be confined to the area of the head and neck; petting the back can stimulate mating behaviors, which you don't want to encourage. His biting when you try to do that may be his way of telling you he doesn't want to be touched while he's inside his cage. QPs often dislike having their personal space-- their cages-- invaded by human hands.

Thanks to both repliers, I was getting kind of anxious that he doesn't like me and hates me, or something. His bites usually don't hurt me at all, he sometimes just beaks at the glove as you said. He's only done it a few times, but he recently broke my finger's skin and made me bleed a little bit. Maybe because my little ( who of course don't understand and misinterpret my Quaker's actions a bit, my mother especially) sisters were being loud as usual.
