Early February of this year I have received a quaker parrot which I think is an adult already. Over the months I have been working on taming this bird and he has been quite the challenge but I never gave up on him. My quaker and I eat fruits everyday at around 9 at night and I have taught him a few tricks. I never forget to tell him good morning, good night or hello. Molting has just stopped for him and now he loves it when I pet him is there a chance that he might be sick with this change?

Oh Yaaa, you have one sick Parrot there!!! And everyone that can barely offer a treat is dying in envy!!! Quietly, enjoy the moment! A good size part of the Parrot World is standing outside your door trying to get a look at a Quaker loving a great head rub! :D

Congratulations!!! You have done it and you are now officially 'Owned By A Quaker!' Enjoy!!!

I agree with Sailboat, live in the moment when your quaker allows you to scratch his head. I have three quakers, they can all be affectionate when they choose to be, they can also be untouchable when the mood strikes them. They say the sweetest things, five minutes later they may scream obscenities, mercurial personalities, the little traitors.

never denounce a cuddly parrot! Relish it. There's nothing better than feather baby wanting to be with you after being stand-offish
