Hi I've been handed two Quakers. One is female semi tame 5 years old. Unfortunately now she's started biting me. The other one is a year old. He was handed over to me because he was sold by birds 4 U as being hand tamed he's not. He's very very aggressive. If you go anywhere near his cage he just growls at you something terrible. I rescue parrots. This is the first time I've had Quakers like this. Even going to the cage to feed them. He Will growl and scream all day long. I've never ever known a bird like him in my life. Once they're both out of the cage. They're fine. He still won't let me near him. When it's time for bed he won't go back in of his own volition. I have to catch him in a towel. I have though of getting both of them wings clipped. Although I don't believe in this. I think it's the only way I'm going to get them both hand tame. I'm really bothered because when they fly around they fly into the window,TV and mirrors. I'm concerned about them hurting themselves more than anything. Please I just need some good advice. I really want to keep them in the house with me I've rescued and had birds for 45+ years now. Just need some good advice please. Also what do the Initials FW stand for on the ring. Does that mean it's from a foreign country thanks
