Neptune moved into Ta-dahs cage, and won't come out!!! Tadah came out of her cage and is pissed, won't go back into her cage, won't go into Neptune cage, won't let me catch her for first time ever. So I can't get Neptune out of her cage, it's his night night time. He won't come out cage is to big to catch him is like four feet deep!! I've got all the lights on all the favorite treats.. ugh, so one loose bird and one in the wrong cage. Ideas????????

Ok problem solved!!! I left everyone alone and cages open, because everyone was screaming mad. Went into ge other room with plate of snacks ..... Both birds flew to grab my snacks, and I was able to get them back in their own cages. Whew! Never seen Tadah that mad befor, or Neptune that crazy!!! Lol he was totally this is my cage now mode!!

Ack - mine did this the other day as well....never happened before here! Baby and Tango decided to explore Bindi’s cage and liked it. Bindi was supremely unimpressed :D

So very funny! For us!

Sorry, I’m laughing with you too! For a couple of years now my quakers have been playing musical cages. The cages are similar, set ups similar, they adopted a my room is your room attitude on their own during flight time with all cages open. I finally gave up and let them choose rather than shuffling them back into their own personal real estate.

Parrots are often afflicted with the "grass is always greener in the other fellow's yard" attitude. Whatever is in the other parrot's cage-- food, toys, perches-- has to be better, even if it's exactly the same. :D It's not unusual for one parrot to take over another parrot's cage. Most of the time, it's only temporary.
