Oh those boys of mine!!! My grandma came to my house to let my dogs out and we were talking using the camera I have set up in the bird room when she said that they were out!

Dang Bluebell knows how to open his cage and I accidentally forgot to put the extra lock on when I feed them this morning. Needless to say he also busted out his partner in crime Avi.

Thank goodness the room is bird proofed and away from the dogs. Apparently they’re both chilling in their favorite spot on my shelf. See if they get those treats I bought them today! (Okay, that’s a lie...)

Maybe I should put a reminder up for my self... I can see why people shame their pets on social media. β€œI broke out of my cage, had an accomplice, and scared my great-grandma half to death.”

B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
Hahaha, the English budgie hen I took in with 23 other birds recently is a houdini. Thankfully she doesn't seem interested in letting all of the other birds loose in the quarantine room. Such funny little people. :D

Jacob the blue and gold macaw
Jacob does the reverse Houdini, he'll break into things instead of out. It's fall and Jacob has been climbing down to look for an area to nest. Well I experimented with so many different barricades before I got it right, so that Jacob couldn't go under the table and nest. This was a time when I was still trying to get the barricades right and Jacob won (I have it set up perfect now).

Quaker parrot, Ralph
Quakers are especially adept escape artists. :D My QP Ralph learned how to take apart the nuts and bolts that hold the food and water access doors in place. He would have escaped if the sound of the doors falling to the floor hadn't startled him. I've had to secure small pieces of tree branches in front of the nuts and bolts so Ralph can't get at them any more.

Ain’t that right lol! It’s amazing the amount of things he’s gotten out of (and into)! Sometimes I wonder if it’s partially my fault because I strongly encourage brains over beak here. Advanced (to us at least) foraging toys for days!
