Irritated eyes?

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and healthy. Something is going on with Mango's eyes, he scratches them quite a bit and one of them is pretty red. I thought maybe it was because he was molting but I am worried. It seems to be better when I give him a bath, does anyone have any experience with this? Thank you so much in advance.

When was his last vet checkup? Could be an infection or things we may not even be able to see. A vet would be able to check him our thoroughly and give him necessary medication. Always trust a professional first rather than an internet forum when you think your bird is sick.

I agree with a vet visit... that could be a sinus infection.

Thank you both. Took him to the vet, it doesn't appear to be a sinus infection or conjuntivitis they said it's probably something with diet but just to be safe they gave us antibiotics. He is doing much better. !
