My amazon Bean has always had liquid poo. Its always been a big splat on the floor, with a soild piece in the middle. Make sense? Yesterday he had a little more fruit then normal, and twice he had some pretty big splats. All this talk about poo on here made me wonder if this sounds normal. He's acting normal, all seems well. Any thoughts?

Fruit can make their poop more watery than usual. I think he should be fine.

I alway thought that, but all that talk about poop on here a few days ago made me wonder. He let out a pretty big splat and I watched him like a hawk for the rest of the evening. All is well, and he is just fine. :)

Oh man.

Nothing ... And I do mean NOTHING ... Is worse than when Hannibal poops on the floor and I miss it. And then I step in it.

In

my

socks.

*shudders*

I've noticed his poo is more watery after he noms fruit as well. ^^

Oh try barefoot. Beans are wet and slippery, gross. But Chico's are like perfect little balls and they blend in with the carpet. I always get one right between my toes, and off I go, hobbling to the bathroom.

Mylah is exactly the same at the moment and i had a look in our Eclectus book and it said that a change in the humidity can do it as well as more fruit intake. She is 100% toilet trained reading this made me think shes really smart lol is anyone elses bird completely toilet trained??

MikeyTN you are missing your favorite topic. lol

ROFLMAO!!!!!

They also get liquidy poop after drinking too much water from bathing....I was giving my too a bath today and she had to go. Good thing I was holding her over the toilet....lol I see enough poo everyday, doggy poo, kitty poo, fish poo and bird poo.....The worst one is kitty poo, I hate to clean litter box and they had to go in and use it while your cleaning which we scoop it every night. They stink!!!!!! Ok I had my poo talk....lol

Chico pooped on my tv remote yesterday. I took one look at it, and though I am not trying to clean this up. So I ran some water over it. Poof! Problem solved and it still works. lol

Chico has ruined a couple phones, and my mac keyboard. Very destructive little guy. Bean is much bigger, and not even half as destructive.

He has destroyed several tv remotes from chewing. Lots of bowls & coffee cups pushing off the counter. The tv was the only poop casualty.

Both my fault! Never leave a cell phone in a parrots reach. And as far as the keyboard. I left the food dish door open, and he flew into my room, and chewed off every button. I TRIPLE check everything now.
