onion leaves and spinach safe?

are onion leaves and spinach safe to feed on parrots?

As far as I remember, you can't feed onions and spinach is good.

^ Exactly right, no onions, spinach is fine.
My birds love spinach, but my Amazon only loves it when no one is watching lmao. Like we dont notice it gone from the bowl when we come back in the room:D

I agree....no onions.....I have a hard time getting my birds to eat the leafy greens...they like other veggies but not those leafy greens.....I sometimes chop the greens up REALLY FINE and hide it in the brown rice....shhhh, don't tell. LOL

That's a good idea, I may have to hide mine too....They hate them....lol

thanks for the reply, my parrot seem to like the smell (maybe) of onions..but since hes still a baby i cant feed him that yet though he is already crunching on wood shavings and its perch in its play pen.

Kitt - that is a GREAT idea! What else do you hide in the brown rice? I'm going to try that, lol!
