If I'm not mistaken that is actually an African Ring Neck. The tail is too long, the beak is almost plum, and the feather color is awful light for an IRN.

Looks like an African Ringneck to me too. Check it out on google, it will tell you the difference between the Indian and African ringneck.

The first second I saw the picture I knew it was a type of Ringneck, their faces are unmistakable!

Don't worry Wibitywab, I thought it was an Indian ringneck with a dark beak until I looked up African ringneck. (and I have a ringneck....sneaks away...)

I think it is a female because there is no dark ring around the neck or a young bird not yet matured for the ring.
