Its the start of spring, and boy is my spring fever out of control! Im starting my yearly spring cleaning today. I was just wondering what cleaners would be safe for the birds or if I should put them in a seperate room while I clean. Before I got the 'keets I used lots of bleach and pine sol. Obviously I cant do that now, and I'm not sure what to use because of fumes. Any suggestions? I heard about grapefruit extract, and very very diluted bleach water, does anyone have any other recomendations especially for the hardwood floors?

I use white vinegar and water for hard surfaces, or my hand held steamer. And for hardwood floors I have a steam mop, no chemicals at all and the floors look great! Also the handheld steamer is great for the bathrooms, it kills the germs and cleans without all the harsh stuff that we usually use in there;)

Bleach is good diluted, however I would never use it in the area the bird is in...I have always used bleach (even a capful in the dish water) but have stopped, due to Mickey.

I haven't tried the GSE yet, but am going to pick some up since everyone raves about it!
