Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me why my Goffin Yoshi has this insane habit of licking his acrylic toys ? He seems to be mezmerized by them !
I guess maybe he just likes the feel of iot on his tongue ?
Has anybody every seen their bird do this ?
I find he has a attraction to these types of toys more so then others. I will buy him more but I just want to make sure this isnt the start a problematic behaviour.
Thank you for any insight on this :)

Birds lick things they find interesting. As long as he seems happy about it it, I wouldn't worry. :)

I haven't had this behavior myself, but I guess I don't see any problem with it and agree with Remy.

When I first got Pete he would lick the bars of his cage every evening. I haven't seen him do it now for awhile. So probably right now he thinks it's interesting and likes how it feels, but eventually will probably get tired of if and move on to something else.
