Parrots
Pineapple green cheek and peach faced lovebird.
they were originally hand raised, but have not been handled a lot lately.
and they have always been in the same cage. from what I read it's not safe for them to be together.. plus if I want them to bond with me.. they should be separated right?
or will it be too hard on them?
10 seconds should I separate immediately or let settle
in so week or so first?

Have they always been together? If so it might be stressful to separate them while their surroundings are new. Having said that, I believe it is when they get older they start to have problems. I am no expert in this field but that is how I see it.

Im on here from my phone too so I know what you mean...lol...

Give them a bit until they settle then you can separate them apart. It would make the training easier.

WELL, the lovebird was terrorizing the gc today
So I went ahead with the separation. So now I can
Post in the lovebird and gc sections separately. Thanks.

my irn and gcc have seperate cages but choose to live together in one and have for a while now and i dont have problems at all - sometimes they will bicker but as long as they have their own food bowls they are happy
