Just got a gc and lovebird, and their cages don't have snaps. For extra safety I mean.
Walmart is the only thing open tonight, would nickel be ok or no?

Nickel would be fine, then you can always get stainless steel later if you want.

I got my stainless steel one at tractor supply for less than the hardware store. (in the horse section)
