Does anyone here work with or know anyone that works with the Parrot Place? What exactly is it that they do? Seems really cool but almost like a scam or flipping at the same time..

- 1 nanday conure Black Jack, 1 Brotogeris parakeet Whiff, 1 ring neck dove Eliza, and 6 society finches (3 are tame). RIP my parent pairs of societies and my little gouldian finches
i have no experience with them, but from the website, they seem reliable. From what i gathered, when you work for them, you breed parrots from your own home as part of the Parrot place and follow their guidelines for raising and selling birds. If you are planning to work for them, then you run a location through your home. If its in your home then you can control the environment and take proper care of the birds 
. If you want to buy a bird from them, as long as you meet the bird and see the location first, then you will be able to ensure your bird comes from a good home :0)

it's a franchise that you pay 5,000 to join , they supply the babies and the training to go into the bird business. Basically they are a broker.I'm sure there's better franchise outlets than others but they seem to do a good job. I've never heard anything bad about them.

So I could spend 5,000 on baby birds myself then once I raise and train them I would sell them and be doing the same basic thing? Seems like a neat thing to do but maybe not for me.. lol Ill stick with working with the snakes!

Well they have the contacts both with buyers and sellers, they should be able to supply what ever birds your customers want. That's their hook.
