First one is a Quaker Parakeet ... Second one is a Lorikeet of some sort (maybe a Rainbow that is moulting? Feathers look like they are in bad condition)

Yup Quaker and a Lori. Lori's are awesome. I'd love to have one if they weren't so messy. Once I have my own aviary...

I am having trouble with that lory. I have been through my lory book and Parrots of the World and I can't find a lory that is supposed to look like that.
At this point my best guess is that it might be a hybrid of a forstens lorikeet and a blue-streaked lory. But I am not sure. We need areal lory expert.

The understatement of the century right there folks ... I know people who have Rainbow loris and put plexiglass on three sides of the cage ... but in all other aspects, they are great birds ... it's the mess and the specialized diets that make them, er, different.

Lories have amazing personalities. But they are poop shooters. But if the mess is what is putting you off lories and you like small smart birds try a hand fed baby goldies lorikeet. In the wild they eat some seed and if fed a pelleted diet they aren't nearly as messy as most other lories and lorikeets. They can talk and are very animated little guys. They love toilet paper rolls. I used to know one who would "shoot" out of a papertowel roll. It was hilarious.

Well I'll take a stab at it. Looks a bit like a red and blue lori (Eos histrio) though they dont usually have green wings. It does seem to fit the trend of genus Eos the best, but again green wings are rare in that group.

Is it a mix? Perhaps the offspring of a red and blue and a rainbow might look like that.

AD is 100% correct, if you are talking about the parrot in your picture, that IS a Patagonian Conure ... probably the softest feathers you will ever come across in the parrot world, they feel almost like silk ...
