Plucking can be caused by a multitude of things, from environment, to diet, to even health.

I wouldn't say that green cheeks are any more prone to plucking than any other species, simply because there's so many reasons why birds can pluck - in any species.

If anything, I would say that some species of cockatoos are more prone to feather destructive behaviors (or other bad behaviors) because it's so easy to love them too much or not enough. Cockatoos are usually the birds who are more likely to become sexually overstimulated by their owners which can lead to a multitude of health and/or behavioral problems. Can't say from experience, only from what I've heard many owners of 'toos say, or from what I've seen.
