How do I get my parrot to get onto his new play-stand. I tried having him step up on it but he pulled away and leaned away from it.
I have left the perch in the same room for about 3 days now and still he's unwilling to go near it.
Am I a bit too impatient? What can I do?

Maybe try a favorite treat or toy and place it on playstand. Worked for my Amazon.

Leave the play-stand within site of his cage, hang a bunch of familiar toys on it, have food and water on it, have treats on it, and try 'playing' and touching the play-stand yourself to make it less scary? It may take several days or even weeks for birds to warm up to new items that they may be afraid of, so it helps to keep it within site but not forcing them on it. In fact, it may help if you created a way for your galah to explore it on his own if he wanted to?
