Thanks!

My birds like cooked sweet potato. I just cook them like a potato in the microwave and then cut into cubes. They are very high in vitamin A so the birds get a little bit daily. They also like it sprinkled with cinnamon.

Sweet potatoes is Mishka's fav (my AG)
I cook them in their jackets in the microwave, let it cool down.
Then cut it into pieces adding a pinch of butter (tiny tiny tiny bit)

Before feeding Mishka mangoes, I leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
The reaason being, it's easier to cut when colder.
Thin slices are then cut, and Mishka makes a pig of himself LoL

Sure many other members will give their input, many different ways to go about it.

MAC, OUR B&G, eats them in any form. Raw, mashed or microwaved and cut in pieces.

His favorite way seems to be mashed up with a little water mixed in to thin them out a bit.

A touch of butter will help to intro your bird to sweet potatoes, they crave the fat. I wouldn't use much and only the first time or two. We do ours like Ant does. In the microwave and let cool. mango slices do good on a skewer.

Another vote for cooked. We cut a mid to small swee' tater into 1/3 to 1/2 , zap it like a regular potato, Cut into small chunks, let it cool and serve on its own for Saltys' dinner. Maybe 1x a week to 10 days. Sometimes with the skins off, some times we will peel them. He LOVES them. We also will mix sweet potato baby food in with his chop&Avicake to change it up a bit, and about the same regularity. 1/3 cup chop, 1 Avicake square, and one heaping teaspoon of baby food. Also one of his fav dinners, he had it tonight and emptied his bowl out, clean as a whistle.
