Where can I find a caregiver for my bird in the event of my hospitalization

Hi all.. I am new here I am the owner of a beautiful Indian Ringneck. I'm in a difficult situation. I may need to be hospitalized and I cannot count on family members or friends to care for her. They are not bird people and I do not have confidence in them looking after my baby. I am in the New York City area .. can someone recommend someone or an organization that could be of assistance in this matter..

Why not look for local bird clubs, bird shops and avian vets? Get a hold of them and see if they could recommend a pet sitter or if any of them could board your bird for you?
