HI I've been a bird owner just over a year. I've been reading about sun lamps for grey's, do they need this and if so how much or long do you leave a lamp on for during the day. If anyone can help i will grateful

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
The "lighting" is a controversial subject. All 4 of mine are under a compact fluorescent bulb (5,000k output = daylight) for no more than 6 hours per day.
Nothing beats REAL sunshine on the feathers, but that is not always an option.
