Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum. Right now I have a parakeet named Koda. In the future I would love to get another bird (I had tiels when I was younger). I really like the eclectus and have done much research on them, but I think I will wait until I am much older to get one. I think id rather start with something smaller first.
I really want a bird that I can bond with and have around for a very long time.
I haven't really done much research on caique's yet, but I have read reviews of them on djfeathers website and everyone seems to love them. I would like to know people's opinions and personal experiences with these birds before doing any further research.
I know all parrots are going to shriek once in a while, but are caiques very loud? Also, do they like to be held and cuddled? Any thoughts and stories would be greatly appreciated.
Also, when it comes time for me to get a new feathered friend I will most likely be getting it from DJ Feathers. They hand tame their birds and my friend loves their services.
